Practical Imaging Informatics: Foundations and Applications for Medical Imaging

I haven’t read the book myself but it does give some guidance on who it’s intended for:
Who Should Read This Book
The primary audience for this book is Imaging Informatics Professionals (and those who want to become one). Certification tests such as the Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) test offered by the ABII is certainly a good reason to master the wealth of information in this book! But it is worth noting that this book, like all educational programs offered by the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM), is independent of the ABII and the CIIP certification program. The authors of this book were trying to provide practical, useful information for everyday IIP practice, not to just teach to the test.
