Episode 4 released

I show you how you can move a study from one patient to another in DCM4CHEE Archive 5. This can be used for example in a situation when the user selected the incorrect modality worklist entry or manually entered the incorrect patient.

I show you how you can split a study in DCM4CHEE Archive 5. This can be used for example in a situation where we had two patients in a row and we by accident send all the images for both of those two patients to the first patient.

In this step-by-step tutorial, I’ll show you how to query and retrieve DICOM studies from a DCM4CHEE archive using the Mito DICOM viewer. You’ll learn how to configure AE Titles, set up routing in the DCM4CHEE admin UI, and test the C-FIND and C-MOVE / C-STORE operations.

How do i set autoroute to the destination AE

Hi mugwero,

so to clarify what you are asking about I think you mean how to automatically send an incoming DICOM study to an external AE in addition to storing it in the DCM4CHEE archive.

DCM4CHEE supports this behavior via Forward Rules or Export Rules in its configuration.

Here is a video on how to do the auto forwarding in DCM4CHEE and I also demonstrate how it works and show the export task and the results in the destination archive.

It’s a three step process to configure auto forwarding of DICOM studies in DCM4CHEE:

  1. Create a new destination AET / device
  2. create export rule
  3. create exporter / export descriptor

yes i have but its like i missed something out can you also do a guide to see if i did anything in order i would really appreciate
