GPT4All is a private offline AI chat you can run locally on your PC and you can also add documents to a knowledge base and discuss with them.
It has an easy to use installer for windows, mac and linux.

This is a bit similar to https://lmstudio.ai/ but compared to lmstudio gpt4all is open source so I prefer it.
Open web UI might be another alternative https://openwebui.com/ but gpt4all is quite a bit easier to install if you are not familiar with docker which would be the easiest way to install open web UI.
The cool thing about gpt4all is that it doesn’t only provide a chat but you have also the local docs feature which allows you to chat with your documents.
